Deepika Bhoolabhai

Every coach has a story which brought them to this point of helping others.
My story starts in Apartheid South Africa, where I was born. A black and white world of power struggles, conflict, poverty and uncertainty. AND I also grew up in Mandela’s South Africa, a rainbow nation, a country of hope for humanity, diversity and richness.
I’m not black nor white, I am Indian, South African-indian and so my journey was slightly different. I am also a woman and with this female body and this South African Indian history came a whole range of set programs and paradigms that I played along with all my life without being consciously aware of any of it. It just ran itself through my behavior, my thoughts, my feelings and it created my life.
As I started studying mindset, the power of the mind, I awakened to something far bigger and more powerful than I could’ve ever imagined. As I started to discover who I truly was inside, my whole life transformed on the outside, my world started shifting as I took back my power and instead of letting my unconscious programs run my behaviors and actions, I started consciously re-creating everything around me the way I want it. And that is what I bring to you now.
This journey potentiates and empowers you in every aspect of your life. Career, money, human connection: all types of relationships, peace of mind, self awareness, awareness of others. There is so much more to your story than you know and you have total power over it to create it as you wish.
My passion and life mission is to show you how. Through any path that resonates with you. And so I bring together all these professional teachers including myself, so you can choose your way to self discovery.
Brian David George
-Creator of Hexagon Balance-
Having lived, studied and worked abroad for over 24 years, Brian identifies as a third culture adult. Born in Virginia in the United States, Brian’s interest in intercultural programs began in high school with an exchange program that introduced him to life in Germany and Norway. He later studied abroad in Salamanca, Spain, which eventually led him to pursue an international internship at the Fulbright Commission in Madrid, giving him his first experience in the program management side of exchange programs.
As a trainer, he has taught and facilitated learning for professionals, both in and out of the workplace, in intercultural communication and competence, language training, well-being at work, and diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging. He has worked with organizations such as Dow Jones, GE Renewables Spain or the European Association of Study Abroad and also one-to-one with professionals preparing to work, study or live in international destinations and on intercultural teams.
Almendra Staffa-Healey
-Co-founder & director of Intercultural Understanding-
Almendra Staffa-Healey was born in Granada, Spain to US American parents, and has lived extensively in both countries as a child and as an adult. Over the past twenty years she has worked in the field of international and intercultural education, business and government.
Her professional focus is cross-cultural understanding and diversity and inclusion practice through education and training. She designs training programs for a variety of business industries and acts as a consultant on DEIB and intercultural projects in global media and entertainment, IT, insurance, and health industry sectors, to name a few. Her work includes collaborations with numerous higher education institutions in Spain, the UK, France, Ireland, the Czech Republic, Switzerland, and the United States. She has a passion for learning through doing and can satisfy it through her work as an experiential learning professor for the Stanford University Program in Madrid where she teaches in the Fall, Winter and Spring terms.
